Could Atlanta be the next World Cup Host City?
On Friday Nadia went out to a gathering of the Atlanta branches of the South African-American Chamber of Commerce and the SOS Children’s Villages. Luz Borrero, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Atlanta Mayor’s Office was there to represent new Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
The event was not only inspiring; it was fun. Drummers, happy South Africans, Nigerians, Ugandans, Senegalese, Americans and more where all in attendance and ready to celebrate the 2010 World Cup’s arrival to the continent of Africa.
