Ever wondered what South African food really is?
Friday we went to 10 Degrees South, an amazing South African restaurant in Atlanta, to have dinner with Owner, Derek Anthony. The hospitality of he and his staff was tremendous. We put together a little piece on our visit which you’ll find linked below. Nadia was on CNN Saturday speaking with Fredricka Whitfield about the visit, we’ll work to get that up here on Monday.

Could Atlanta be the next World Cup Host City?
On Friday Nadia went out to a gathering of the Atlanta branches of the South African-American Chamber of Commerce and the SOS Children’s Villages. Luz Borrero, Deputy Chief Operating Officer of the Atlanta Mayor’s Office was there to represent new Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.
The event was not only inspiring; it was fun. Drummers, happy South Africans, Nigerians, Ugandans, Senegalese, Americans and more where all in attendance and ready to celebrate the 2010 World Cup’s arrival to the continent of Africa.
